"If the Classical Period is the parent, then the Romantic Period is its unruly teenager." Romanticism is a loosely used word to indicate literary and artisitc movements of the late 18th and early 19th century. It was an era where certain rebellious ideas and attitudes became about. As a result of this rebellion came some of the greatest art, music and literature of all time.
